Every day we wake up with a set of goals in mind. It matters not what you are currently doing with your life, be it school, work, family, pursuing your dreams, basking in laziness, et. There is always some goal we have in mind for each day. Many people wake up and simply let the day come as is, which can be a wonderful way to be accepting of the various challenges that present themselves to us, as we embark on our individual journeys, daily. But what if there was more to it than all this? What if we could use our thoughts to manifest each experience in accordance to our own well- being? By using the power of our own thoughts & energy we have the potential to create any reality we want, regardless of the external circumstances that surround us.
We tend to forget how powerful our own thoughts are. I’ve already discussed how life is merely a matter Of perception. But there are also ways to change your perception in order to see more than what our eyes allow us to. The minute I wake up every morning I spend that first hour simply decompressing from my recent unconscious experience, as I’m extremely mindful of my dreams. Just like the power of conscious thought, they have even more power than so many of us perceive. Its important to be mindful and aware of al your thoughts in order to understand what from of mind you’re always in during constant stages of development. This is how we utilize control over our thoughts. That in itself gives us greater power than many of us ever imagined.
But what about our imaginations? If we can think it or dream it then there is a very strong possibility that we can do it. Maybe not in the literal sense, but its true what they say, when you put your mind to it, you can do anything. That’s exactly why that saying exists. Because the power of the mind and thoughts we hold is virtually limitless. Now mind you, this understanding and realization takes time and often a number of both joyous and tragic experiences to manifest. Its not till we are faced with an emotional overload that the threshold is broken and we are forced to really comprehend the nature of our own existence.
This all comes with being aware. Being aware of ourselves and our surroundings is essential for growth. And in this regard we truly take the time to understand the vastness of not only our own existence, but its relation to every living organism around us. And that’s when the power of thought becomes more than just thinking, because it gives us the ability to do. We begin asking questions, and come to realize that we have the answers, and we’ve always had them all along. Believe it or not we are all knowing, and the fact we can simply extract information from an external stimuli and utilize it in order to create makes us all powerful. So many reject this idea simply out of fear, but there is absolutely nothing to be afraid of because its all you. And its all as real as your own very existence.
Begin your day with affirmations. Tell yourself you are great, intelligent, and capable. Be thankful for what you have and stop worrying about what you don’t have, because I assure you, you are doing fine without it. Then shape your day however you desire; even if it has to be shaped around work, there are still little things we can do that can turn our every day experience into something special. It simply takes the power of thought. With these thoughts you’ve been given the keys to the kingdom. So why not strengthen your body, mind, and soul, to direct your thoughts in a manner that pleases you? Negative thoughts can have just as much power over us as positive thoughts if we let them. That’s why mindfulness is extremely important.
Nobody cant tell you how or what to think unless you let them. Our thoughts trigger emotion and lead us down tricky paths depending on how we react. Your reactions to the uncertainties that occur around you every day says everything about who you are and your frame of mind during the present time being. Controlling your thoughts allows you to exhibit more self-control over your reaction to the unexpected challenges that occur daily. And that in itself, gives you power beyond measure. And that power serves immense purpose when practicing self-preservation to better the quality of our own lives.

What a simple and yet powerful thought! So many of us dwell on the negative because it overwhelms us. But if we start our day dwelling on the things we can accomplish, our whole attitude changes and our day will automatically go well!
I for one also believe that we already know the answer to most of our questions. However, we are not always ready to act on something and so we deny ourselves access to the answers. I never thought of it as controlling my own thoughts but I try to direct my energies toward the positive as Matt is suggesting.
One last thought, I try to remember my dreams because I think of them as my sub-conscious mind trying to send me a message. But I can’t always interpret them! Still working on it!!
